ABOUT WINDBIRDS

The Windbird collection is hand-crafted for your enjoyment by Robert Lexth. At the suggestion of family members, he took what began as a five year hobby and turned it into a craft that has brought joy to birders, gardeners and naturalists alike.

This collection started after Bob picked up a few commercially made birds and quickly realized their lack of quality and longevity. After redesigning the birds spinning mechanisms and experimenting with different types of woods and finishes, he has designed a quality product that will bring years of enjoyment to any bird lover.

Windbirds offers ten different species of birds and three styles of bird houses. All of our birds are primed and painted with oil-based paints. The bird houses and mallard duck are available in a natural oiled finish of the more discern naturalist.
